The morning begins with the murmur of the ocean and a fresh breeze brushing your face at 8:00 a.m., as our unforgettable journey gets under way.
You climb aboard a boat alongside fellow adventurers, with the promise of an unforgettable day: an excursion to remote Pinzón Island and the calm waters of La Fe Bay.
The crossing takes about 70 minutes. On arrival, the world changes. The sea turns crystal-clear, the calm waters invite you to dive in, and on that first snorkel marine life welcomes you: tropical fish in impossible colors, sea turtles gliding by with elegance, and reef sharks resting in the shallow bay.
Pinzón is one of the few places in the entire archipelago where you can swim alongside endemic marine iguanas as they feed underwater. You may also be lucky enough to see manta rays, octopuses, lobsters and even playful sea lions.
The route continues toward La Fe Bay. And as if all this weren't enough, the way back may hold one last surprise: the chance to fish for yellowfin tuna.
Around 4:00 p.m. you return to Puerto Ayora. Pinzón Island sits not only at the geographic center of the archipelago… but also in the hearts of those who dare to discover it.
